gtop is a system monitor for the terminal. It shows your GPU next to your CPU.

Sort by CPU, memory or GPU. Filter by name. Stop a process.
GPU support: NVIDIA, AMD and Intel on Linux, and Apple Silicon on macOS. The panels move to fit your window. Press o to change their order. Press ? to see all keys.
Install
Homebrew (macOS and Linux):
brew tap dk-bitmonkey/tap
brew trust --formula dk-bitmonkey/tap/gtop
brew install gtopYou run brew trust only once, because this is a third-party tap.
Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora: download a .deb or .rpm file from the releases page. You also find ready-to-run files for macOS and Linux there. Intel, AMD and ARM computers are supported.
Windows is not supported.
Use
gtop # start
gtop -i 500 # refresh every 500 ms (default 1000)Settings are in config.toml. On Linux, this is ~/.config/gtop/config.toml. On macOS, this is ~/Library/Application Support/gtop/config.toml.
Privacy
gtop reads data from your computer only. It does not use the network and sends no data.
